Every fall and spring, the members of our organization gear up to put on the most exciting event at Texas A&M University, Fiji Share the Spirit Weekend! The morning of the event, two busloads patients from the Texas Medical Center will begin making their way to Kyle Field for a fun day of tailgating and Texas A&M Football!

Upon arrival to our catered tailgate, the patients will be paired up with a Share the Spirit volunteer who will be the participant’s “buddy” for the day. While the excitement is building in anticipation for the start of the game, patients will participate in a variety of pre-game activities ranging from meeting the athletes before the game, to participating in an authentic yell practice led by the Texas A&M Yell Leaders! In the minutes approaching the start of the game, everyone will file into the stadium to watch the Aggies face off against their opponents!

The electrifying atmosphere of Texas A&M athletic events and the relationships that develop as a result allows us to instill a sense of self value in our guests, and convey to them that the community cares for their well being!
